{"id":168,"date":"2022-11-29T00:55:35","date_gmt":"2022-11-29T04:55:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dragonflyvision.ca\/blog\/?p=168"},"modified":"2022-12-31T22:52:13","modified_gmt":"2023-01-01T02:52:13","slug":"eddy-turn-musing-no-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dragonflyvision.ca\/blog\/2022\/11\/29\/eddy-turn-musing-no-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Eddy  No.1 &#8211; Pause, Breathe"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<style>@import url('https:\/\/fonts.googleapis.com\/css2?family=Bellefair&display=swap');<\/style>\n<p style=\"font-family:'Bellefair',serif; font-size:1.6em\">\nEddy &#8211; the space forming downstream from, or \u201cbehind\u201d an obstruction such as a rock, group of boulders, partially submersed detritus such as fallen tree limbs, or shape of land, either natural or man-made.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"font-family:'Bellefair',serif; font-size:1.6em\">Eddy &#8211; an area of swirling water that forms behind an obstacle\u2026.a slower quieter movement than rivers main flow.<\/p> \n\n<p style=\"font-family:'Bellefair',serif; font-size:1.6em\">\nEddy &#8211; A diverging circular current of water, air, imagination created by the main \u2018streams\u2019 flow past an obstruction.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"font-family:'Bellefair',serif; font-size:1.6em\">\nEddy \u2013 a place for fish to wait in hunt for insects drawn into by eddy\u2019s touch.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"font-family:'Bellefair',serif; font-size:1.6em\">\nEddy \u2013 a place where stuff collects; fallen leaves, soil, insects, plastic bags, containers, styrofoam, toxicity. <\/p>\n\n<p style=\"font-family:'Bellefair',serif; font-size:1.6em\">\nEddy \u2013 a resting place for salmon returning from the ocean to pause, rest before heading again upstream to spawn, begin the next generation.
